The Klow Pen extends our three-peptide Glow blend with a fourth compound: KPV, the anti-inflammatory tripeptide derived from alpha-MSH. Where Glow models how tissue is rebuilt, Klow lets researchers study rebuilding against a modulated inflammatory background – the condition under which repair actually occurs in living tissue. All four peptides are delivered from a single 80mg pen.
Four Peptides, Four Pathways
Each component of the 80mg blend acts on a distinct arm of the repair process:
– KPV (10mg): A C-terminal alpha-MSH tripeptide (Lys-Pro-Val) studied for NF-kB pathway inhibition and pro-inflammatory cytokine modulation, without the melanogenic activity of the parent peptide.
– GHK-Cu (50mg): A naturally occurring copper tripeptide, extensively studied for collagen and elastin gene expression, extracellular matrix turnover and antioxidant signalling in fibroblast cultures.
– BPC-157 (10mg): A gastric pentadecapeptide studied for angiogenic response, fibroblast activation and growth-factor receptor upregulation in structural repair models.
– TB-500 (10mg): The synthetic fragment of Thymosin Beta-4, investigated for actin-binding, cellular migration and the recruitment of regenerative cells toward sites of injury.
Why the Inflammation Arm Matters
Tissue repair does not happen in a quiet environment. Inflammatory signalling runs alongside – and substantially governs – matrix remodelling, angiogenesis and cell recruitment. Adding KPV gives researchers a way to study that interaction directly:
– Resolution and Remodelling: Investigating how NF-kB suppression alters the rate and quality of collagen deposition driven by GHK-Cu and BPC-157.
– Cytokine Context: Studying TNF-alpha, IL-6 and IL-1beta levels alongside regenerative markers in a single culture rather than across separate protocols.
– Oxidative Balance: Combining GHK-Cu’s copper-carrier behaviour with KPV’s reported effects on reactive oxygen species to model redox state during repair.
– Comparative Arms: Running Klow against our Glow 70mg pen isolates the specific contribution of the KPV component, since the other three loadings are identical.
Why the 50 / 10 / 10 / 10 Ratio
The Klow blend is not an arbitrary mixture. The 50mg GHK-Cu, 10mg BPC-157, 10mg TB-500 and 10mg KPV loading mirrors the concentrations used in our standalone research pens and in the Glow blend, so results obtained with Klow remain directly comparable both to single-compound studies and to Glow itself. Researchers running a control arm against our GHK-Cu 50mg, BPC-157 10mg, TB-500 10mg or KPV 10mg pens can do so without recalculating their protocol.
The Research Pen: Precision for Laboratory Studies
Our pre-filled pen delivery system is engineered to give researchers a consistent, repeatable tool. Moving beyond traditional lyophilised vials, the pen format ensures:
– Exact Dosing: Dial-in mechanisms allow for precise, repeatable measurements, crucial for maintaining consistency across a research protocol.
– Peptide Integrity: The airtight, light-resistant housing protects the delicate peptide structure from environmental degradation and UV exposure.
– Streamlined Workflow: No reconstitution, manual syringe drawing or measuring is required, reducing the risk of contamination and human error.
– Stability: The pre-filled format is designed to maintain peptide stability throughout the life of the pen.
Each pen is quality controlled and COA verified, and ships from the UK.
